Lee Gabe
Born and raised in Miami, Lee Gabe came from a musically talented family; he began playing the piano at age 5 and picked up the saxophone at age 10. Lee graduated High School from Interlochen Arts Academy and received his Bachelors of Music at Florida International University where he studied with Gary Campbell, Mike Orta, and Sam Lussier. He also studied privately with accomplished multi-instrumentalist Billy Ross. During his College breaks, Lee spent much of his time working abroad on cruise ships performing with show bands, jazz bands, and small groups.
Lee is a very versatile Artist and can perform all styles of music including, Classical, Jazz, Blues, Funk, Rock, R&B, Show Tunes, Fusion, Klezmer, Hip Hop and so much more. His instrumental lineup includes Soprano, Alto, Tenor Saxophones, Flute, Piccolo, Clarinet, and EWI. His musical influences come from many artists, but his favorites include Sonny Rollins, Michael Brecker, Kenny Garrett, and Pat Metheny.
