Fire Dancers are a group of performance artists that have practiced skills that involve manipulation of fire, typically it involves equipment and objects to perform juggling, baton twirling and poi spinning with a few that offer Fire Eating/Breathing. Performances are displayed as choreographed routines to music related to dance and rhythmic gymnastics. Some aspect of fire performance can be found in a wide variety of cultural traditions and rituals from around the world such as Polynesia, Southeast Asia to India.
